I met Wally in 1972 when my family moved next door to them in Geneva, NY. I grew up with Karen and Bob. John and Wally were like a second set of parents to me. I have so many memories of Wally and my mother volunteering at the hospital or working the polls at the elections. Karen and I took our first alone flight to Michigan to visit Wally’s parents on the farm when we were 16. We had so many adventures. I have so many happy memories of them. I always admired Wally, such a beautiful person and she could do anything except teach Karen and I to china paint. She made it look so easy as she did everything. I remember her sitting in her chair hand flocking a dress for a little girl. Everything she did, she did with great love and elegance. She will be dearly missed.
