Norm was a great guy-always thinking of other people. I first met Kathy and Norm when I moved into a home around the corner from them. They brought a pot of chili which was extremely welcomed after a day of moving.
My aunt, Elsie Hey, helped Norm and Kathy some when they had the trucking business and she always had good words for both.
He will be deeply missed-deep condolences to the family.

It all started when we were walking by Norman’s house and he told my two sons to come and get a drink! That was the day we met him and ever since he has been like family! From long talks to dropping off the newest calendar , too telling me he doesn’t do hugs ! He was always the best neighbor/grandfather that you could ask for ! We will miss him greatly! We love you Norman!

Rest in Peace, Dad. Remembering the many years of close family time we spent together - Mom, Dad, Joey and myself. We played games at home throughout the year, but especially at Christmas time. We always went to Downtown Buffalo to see the magical mechanical window displays every holiday season. He took us on so many family vacations usually camping, but also to the Big Apple staying in a high rise hotel in Manhattan, climbing about a billion metal spiral steps to the top of the Statue of Liberty in 90 degree heat, seeing the Empire State Building and ordering a sandwich from one of those 'automats' food dispensers. We even had fun all coming home reeking of cigarette smoke after playing Bingo at Infant of Prague on Saturday nights. Dad taught me how to build a bird house, plant all types of gardens and trees, and how to build brush piles in the woods for the animals. Mostly he taught me independence and self-reliance and supported women's achievement in all walks of life, especially for Mom. Condolences and thanks to all those who spent time with Norm in recent years when his strength of body waned helping to keep his intellect strong and appreciated. Peace. Semper Fi
