Obituary of Bobby E. Martin

Bobby Elaine Martin, 69 years young, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Canandaigua, NY, following a brief illness. Bobby was born the daughter of two wonderful parents Shirley and Robert Smith Sr. She was born October 27, 1953 in Carthage, NY. Later her family moved to Marion NY where at 17 years old after only a week of knowing each other she met and married the love of her life Thomas Martin Sr. they we're married for 41 years. They moved to Canandaigua, NY and made a life with their four children. Bobby was a homemaker and then worked at Notre Dame Retreat House in Canandaigua, NY for 10 years in housekeeping where she retired from. Bobby is predeceased by her father Robert Smith Sr.; mother, Shirley Smith; son, Thomas Martin Jr.; her grandson, Keegan Martin and her husband, Thomas Martin Sr. She is survived by her children; daughter, Melissa (Adam) Clark of Wayland, NY; daughter, Teresa Martin of Penfield, NY; son, Kirk Martin of Canandaigua, NY; a close family friend, Laura Simpson of Canandaigua, NY; her sisters, Fawn (Tim) Illingsworth, Melody (Marvin) Illingsworth, Jackie (Jim) Baldwin, Dawna Rogers, Hope Smith; brothers, Robert(Petra)Smith, Terry (Elizabeth) Smith, Dana (Jane) Smith and Tracy Smith; Bobby's 14 grandchildren, Keegan, Evan, Johnna, Brianna Martin of Ohio, Parker, Chelsea Clark of Wayland, NY, Trevor Clancy and Jaycee G of Penfield, NY, Thomas Odell of Canandaigua, NY, Landon, Ayden, Kiara Simpson of Canandaigua, NY, Savannah and Ariana Martin; eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends. Friends may call Thursday, January 19 from 11 AM- 1 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 1 PM funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
