As sure as I know "God made Little Green Apples" I know that George is up there with his Dad, Andy and our Dad Howard, standing at the edge of a field filled with corn stubble. George is talking about all the changes in farming, tractors with A/C, balers, combines and corn planters and he says "they will not be planting corn in the same field next spring."
George is looking down with great pride, nodding his head to his Dad and says "Barb and I raised a kind, wonderful and loving family and I will be watching over them every day.
Rest in Peace George we are sure going to be missing you.
Love Alberta and Richard

So many memories of time spent with your family. As for your Dad - or in your case, Barb, husband, I didn’t see him around much as he was always hard at work on the farm. Weather it was milking cows, plowing fields, or fixing what needed fixing, George was one busy man. BUT, that being said, he seemed to always make time for family. One family tradition, which sticks in my mind to this day, is playing softball in the lot at the base of your driveway (I believe it was on Sunday nights?). Kevin and I were fortunate to be invited and were made to feel a part of the Rogers family. If I remember right, George was regularly in attendance and you could just tell that he loved his “down” time with family. The Rogers family will make it through this and continue to carve out new family traditions - just as George would have it. Love y’all! Kelly (Hoskins) Dworak
