Obituary of Scott John Schrader

Scott J. Schrader Shortsville- Scott Schrader, 62, passed away unexpectedly January 19, 2022. Scott was predeceased by his father, John on April 6, 2021. He was also predeceased by an aunt, Berniece Bell. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruth; cherished daughter, Kaylee (Joe) Russell; their daughter, Cheyenne; mother, Eleanor (Hinman) Schrader; sister, Sherri (JoAnn VanCaeseele) Ross; niece, Kristin (Ryan) Burnette; their sons, Hunter and Levi; niece, Courtney Ross; brother in-law, Andrew (Monica) Bell; their daughter, Andrea and Uncle Ronny & Rainy. Born in Canandaigua, Scott was raised in Shortsville and graduated from Red Jacket High School, class of 1977. Scott was a car enthusiast, building, racing and making a living around cars. He raced DIRT for over 40 years and then he pursued drag racing for many years following. He raced for winning but his #1 was Kaylee, anyone that knew Scott also knew nothing came before her.
