Obituary of Rolland J. Chambers

Rolland J. (Jack) Chambers, 72, of Canandaigua, NY passed away on February 27, 2020, at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. Visitation will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from noon to 2:00 p.m. with a brief service to follow. Burial will occur later in spring at Coopers Plains Cemetery in Coopers Plains, NY. Jack was born in Corning, NY, in 1947 and went to high school at Southside High School, Elmira, NY, graduating in 1965. He went on to earn an Associate degree from Finger Lakes Community College, Canandaigua, NY. He retired from WFL BOCES in 2009. He was involved in the Ontario County Republican Party. Jack is survived by his son John T. Chambers II, daughter-in-law Marianne, and grandchildren Rayanna and John F, all of Farmington, NY. He is also survived by his beloved companion Sandra Sommers of Canandaigua, NY. He is preceded in death by his sister, Candis E. Chambers of Elmira, NY.
