My condolences to the family and all who loved Richard. It’s so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. His Word, the Bible, gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort during this very difficult time.

Remembering Cousin Richard-always a caring and gentle person. Thinking of his family and friends as they gather together today.

One day 35 years ago my best friend Dave Pike and I had 4 of our very young children with us as we drove by Mr. Joe’s house. He was in the front yard and as his former students we had to stop and say hi. Dave and I were not the best students of Mr. Joe’s so when he looked into the car and saw our kids his first words were, “ So you two finally finished a project!”
My friend Dave passed away a few years ago and I believe he and Mr. Joe are sharing a good laugh right about now!
Mr. Joe - you will be missed!

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dick. Many years ago he built some furniture for my classroom in Victor, creating exactly what I was hoping for. My thoughts go out to the whole famlly.

Our deepest sympathy to the family on the loss of Dick. He was a long time friend. We have many happy memories of good times we spent out to dinner with he and Ann.
He also taught our son in mechanical drawing class.
Our prayers to all his extended family. He is a great loss. Bev and Al Rosbrook

I have known Dick for many years as a fellow Rotarian. I have had the deepest respect for him, especially his very moving invocations which he offered regularly at the beginning of Rotary meetings. His inspiration will be missed greatly. But mostly I will miss him.
