Verna was, and will always be, my celiac sprue buddy. She pushed me out of my comfort zone and shared her world view with me. I will never, ever, forget her. . . .

I work at the Yarn Shop in Geneva. I loved to see Verna come in the shop. She was a joy! She loved to plan what she was going to knit for everyone. Laying out the yarns and deciding who was going to get what; mittens, hats or scarfs and what colors would look best on each person. She always had a smile on her face. Verna was so much fun to talk to and always something interesting to tell us. I'm truly going to miss her.

I own the yarn shop in Geneva. I was so sorry to read that Verna passed away. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed Verna's visits to us. She was a pleasure to talk to and her joy in the planning of gifts for her family, especially her grandchildren was great fun to share. She clearly loved you all so very much.
