Obituary of Paul Allen Pollock

Paul A. Pollock passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83. Paul leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Brenda (Geer) Pollock from Shortsville, NY; sons, Doug (Nancy) Pollock from Williamson, NY, Scott (Jo Ann) Pollock from Farmington, NY, Mark (Karen) Pollock from Deland, FL. and Shawn (Janet) Pollock from Shortsville, NY; along with 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren as well many extended family members and friends. Paul and Brenda were high school sweethearts from Harding High School in Marion, Ohio. After high school, Paul began his working career at the local factory and soon married Brenda and began their family in Marion, Ohio. Then Paul started working construction with a close friend and the business grew over the years. This led Paul to move his family to Huntington Beach California in the mid 70's. This lasted a few short years as the family missed the change of seasons and moved back to the east coast. They then landed in Victor NY, before buying the family home in Shortsville a few years later where they lived for 30 plus years. In Paul and Brenda's later years they enjoyed doing local craft shows where they showcased Paul's woodworking skills and Brenda's hand painted works under the name The Handmaiden. Paul will be remembered for his signature smile and his hard work ethic. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
