Obituary of Renza J. Taylor

Renza J. Taylor, age 85, cherished resident of Middlesex, NY, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023. Born on June 2, 1938, Renza lived a life enriched by the simple joys that surrounded her – the embrace of family, the warmth of friendship, the loyal companionship of her cherished cats and dogs, and the beauty of her beloved flower gardens. Throughout her career, Renza devoted herself to enhancing the lives of others. Her tenure at Ontario County Social Services exemplified her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her community. Renza's compassion extended further as she contributed her warmth and care to Canandaigua Sports Medicine and Marcus Whitman School, where she served as a bus monitor, impacting the lives of countless students. Her home exuded a special magic during the holiday season. Renza eagerly anticipated and joyously embraced Christmas, adorning her home with festive decorations and trimming the tree with care while Elvis songs filled the air, bringing an extra sparkle to her smile. Renza is survived by her devoted husband, David F Taylor, her loving son Dan DeJohn, grandchildren Heather (Andrew) DiDonato and Kimberly DeJohn and great-grandchild Julien DiDonato. Their cherished memories will forever honor Renza's spirit and legacy. A graveside service will be held at Overackers Cemetery in Middlesex on December 6, 2023, at 11:00 am for those who would like to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to an animal humane society of your choice, honoring Renza's lifelong love and compassion for animals.
