I have been friends with Liz since 1958. We first met at the rail road tracks on our way walking to downtown. Liz being the out going person started talking to me and that was the beginning of a life long friendship. I could write a book on the many adventures we shared and the trouble we sometimes got into, but I will just keep them in my memories.
There were long stretches when we did not see each other, but we had the type of friendship that you could be apart for years and then pick up again right where we left off. We could scream at each other over politics, but never get mad at each other.
Liz was best known for her out going personality, she could carry on conversations with anyone. She could also be very frank and outspoken and no one seem to mind. I think they appreciated her honesty. She was a person of great faith and never gave up on trying to convince me to come back to the Catholic Church.
Even though in later years we did not see each other very often I always felt her friendship and knew she was there. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to the family.
Rest in Peace my dear friend.

I was a friend to Liz for many years. As I moved south to Virginia beach, we kept in touch throughout the years. When I would call her she would answer the phone and say "Where are you?" thinking that I am in New York.
We worked together at Ontario County for many years and became close and would banter back and forth.
To the family, I can only say 'God bless you all and my prayers are with you.
RIP Liz...I love you, my friend

I was a classmate of Liz. My fond memories of Liz centres around her amazing singing voice. I can still hear her and it puts a smile on my face. My condolences to her family members who have surrounded her with love and comfort and have a lifetime of memories of her. Sincerely, Pat Hessney Parker
