Rose grew up in Canandaigua. She attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Canandaigua Academy. She met George when she worked at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua. She also worked for many years at the Finger Lakes Race Track in Farmington where she made many friends. Rose was an expert seamstress and avid quilter. Everyone who knew Rose marveled at her baking, especially her pizzelle cookies. She was also an active member at St. Dominic Church in Shortsville.
Rose, beautiful and kind, exhibited her faith in every aspect of her life.
She was the heart and soul of our many family holidays. Whether it was gathering everyone for her delicious gnocchi's at Christmas or making your favorite birthday cake, she always knew how to make each of us feel special. Rose, a generous soul, is deeply loved by her family and friends.
The family is grateful to the staff at Victor Views Assisted Living and also for the many friends she made there.
