Obituary of Joyce A. Finnick

Joyce (Schell) Finnick Canandaigua- Joyce Finnick passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born in Canandaigua, NY on November 13, 1942 to the late Harold and Gert Schell. Joyce graduated from the Canandaigua Academy, drove school bus for many years, and also worked on the New York State Thruway. She is survived by two sons, Steve Finnick and James Finnick (Carrie Jones); one daughter, Darcy Finnick (Martin Plowe); daughter in-law, Dawn Mamikunian; stepsons, Steve Finnick (Christine) and Tom Finnick; grandchildren, Annabelle, Hannah, Hunter, Parker, Paige, Sammy, Stevie, Kyle, Mary, Ryan, and Kim. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James Finnick; beloved son, David Finnick; brother, Ron Schell and sisters, Kathy Smith and Marge Frasca. Joyce will be missed by all but please find peace in knowing that she is now with all of the loved ones that she has lost and has missed for so long. There will be a gathering at her graveside, 11AM, Friday, December 23, in Woodlawn Cemetery for anyone who would like to join.
