Obituary of Brenda J. Stell

Brenda Stell 82, passed away on December 9, 2022. Brenda, daughter of Kenneth and Irene Reckahn, worked as a home health aide and at the Glen Iris Inn as head of housekeeping. Brenda was an avid card player and loved playing Euchre and spending time with friends and family. Growing up in Gainsville, NY, Brenda spent a lot of time at Letchworth State Park. Fulfilling a life dream, she and her husband Dick took a hot air balloon ride over the park falls. She enjoyed her family fishing trips especially with her childhood friend, Wendy. Brenda enjoyed her many other vacations throughout the country. When her children were little, she loved camping with her family and created wonderful memories. Brenda had a radiant smile and loved everyone that she met. Brenda is survived by her husband Richard Stell, children Tim (Cyndi) Plowe, Mike (Deb) Plowe, Kathy Plowe, Marty Plowe, Peggy (Bill) Crowley, Bonnie Fritz, Mike (Deb) Kelly, Debbie (Donnie) Kilbourne, Todd (Mary Jane) Stell, Kevin (Terri) Stell, Kelly (Robin) Allen, Brad Stell. Sister, Jean (Larry) Thibault, sisters in law Verna Reckahn, Joan Stell, Sandy Stell, Arlene Stell and Etta Stell, brother in law, Bill Stell. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is pre deceased by her brother Vern, husbands Richard Plowe and Jim Kelly. Sons Dennis Kelly, Jim Kelly Jr. and Robert Kelly. Brothers and sisters in law, Carl and Ruth Stell, Ada Clark, Virginia and John Langmaid, Barbara Curry, Donald Stell, April and Kenneth Raner, Jean Stell and Fred Stell who passed just hours before Brenda. Friends may call Thursday (Dec. 15th) from 5pm-7pm at Fuller Funeral home in Canandaigua. A funeral service will be on Friday (Dec. 16th) at 11am at Fuller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Overackers Cemetery, Middlesex, NY immediately following the service.
