Obituary of Ryan W. Hotchkiss

RYAN W. HOTCHKISS 7/15/1989 - 5/6/2022 After a serious illness compounded by many complications, Ryan passed away on May 6, 2022 at 32 years of age. Ryan was born in Geneva, NY on July 15, 1989 and grew up in the Canandaigua area. In 2010 he moved to VA where he made Roanoke his home. He loved his fur buddy Diesel, taking long rides on his Harley, writing poetry and spending time with family and friends. Ryan is survived by his father Todd Curtiss of Roanoke, VA, his mother Susan Hotchkiss of Canandaigua, maternal grandparents Carl & Diana Hotchkiss of Farmington, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his grandfather Kenneth Payne, grandparents Ronald and Gwendolyn Curtiss, great-grandparents Gordon & Christine Meehan and Carl & Ruth Hotchkiss, uncles John Curtiss, Rory Curtiss, an aunt Raechel Curtiss Ciroula, great-aunts Janet Swackhammer (who Ryan called "The Gum Lady") and Sandy Harris. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, June 1st from 5pm - 7pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua.
