Obituary of Edward T. Hanley

Edward T. Hanley, Jr. Edward Hanley, 92, of Naples, NY passed away on April 12, 2022. Ed was a lifelong resident of this area, born in Canandaigua, graduating from Canandaigua Academy in 1947. He then attended Hobart College (B.A. 1951) and Cornell Law School (J.D. 1954). A practicing attorney since that time, Ed had offices in Canandaigua and Rochester. Ed leaves his wife, Ann Cleveland Hanley; his children, Marcia (Jeff) Kovalovsky, Linda McNamara, Peter Hanley, Judith (Albert) Voss, Susan (Steve) Nako, Carola (Kelly) Kovalovsky; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom are smarter and much better looking than average, according to their grandfather/ great-grandfather. There will be no calling hours. A 12 PM memorial reception will be held Monday, May 9, at Nolan's on the Lake, 726 S. Main St, Canandaigua. This would have been Ed's 93rd birthday. He had hoped that his friends and acquaintances would attend and enjoy.
