Steve, Karen, and Cathy.
I was really sorry to see this. Growing up next to Jim and Jennie connected me to your family. We had a few get togethers over the years with you and your dad, Jim Jr. I always remember them, whether it was the pool at your house, or helping your dad clear the land next door, put a roof on that barn, or the old cars.
One thing about Tom I will never forget is that once when I must have been in elementary or intermediate school, I was getting sort of bullied or harassed by some jerk while waiting to get on the bus. I don't even remember what it was about. What I do remember is that Tom was nearby, saw it, and came over and ended it immediately.
I never got to know all of you very well, but our lives were loosely laced together and I am grateful for all the memories I have of those times.
