So sorry to hear about Don's passing. Growing up I heard many stories about Don from my Dad.
Sympathies to the entire Sanford family.

Pat and Family; I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. You both were customer's of mine when I worked at Wegman's in canandaigua. I looked forward to seeing you both each week. Don always had a smile on his face and always had encouraging words that would brighten my day. You both were such a comfort to me when my Father passed away several years ago. You both have a special place in my heart. Thinking of you Pat and your Family and Praying for you all that God will give you great peace. Hold onto those beautiful memories you have and the love and support of family and friends will get you through this rough times. I love you Pat. Blessings

Pat and Family,
I remember Don getting established in the Bristol community as I was leaving some 50 years ago.
We reunited in our future roles. He, as a fireman,
me as a deputy sheriff.
Ever the community-minded person he was a friendly soul, always smiling and interested in what and how you were doing. The kind of person that brings smiles to your face when remembering your Bristol roots.
RIP my friend. Job well done.
My deepest sympathies to you Pat and your family.
Don DeSmith
