Bill Michelle Eric and family - I hope you know how much I truly loved and adored Annie. She was one of the most important people in my life and someone I have always loved completely. I have beautiful memories of Annie from the time I was a young girl until the last time I was able to visit with her just before Covid shut everything down. She was mostly speaking French at the time but we had a moment where she looked at me and smiled and said "Maggie?!" which to me meant the world. She may have thought I was my mom but the recognition was a gift. I told her I loved her we held hands and I knew she knew I was there. I can't put into words the love I have for Annie and your family - the friendship that the Kaysers the Upsons and the Schultzes have shared over the decades will always be treasured.

Bill, Michelle, Eric, my heart was broken when I heard the news, It was an honor to help care for Anne, one of my fondest memory of Anne was when she sang La vie en rose, word for word with Edith on the TV, it brought tears to my eyes and when it was over she looked right at me and said “thank you that was beautiful!”. To be honest though doing your weekly video chat with you all was the highlight of my week watching her touch your faces on the screen, watching her smile when she heard Bill say “Frenchie,”... I will miss Anne and you Bill❤️

Bill, Michele and Eric: So sorry for your loss. Annie was a wonderful woman with many talents, she showed me how to make some cookies and we shared some recipes also. I babysat for the kids when they were little and first moved to Manchester. Those were the good days and the happy days. She was very loving.

Annie was such a caring, friendly lady. She had many interesting stories about her life. We truly enjoyed talking with her. We have a lot of nice memories of her. Just her outgoing friendly nature made her someone you’d like to be around. We’ll always remember her delicious shepherds pie she made for us! And her cookies! We’re thankful and lucky to have known her as our neighbor and our friend. Our deepest sympathy to Bill and his family. From Phil and Margaret and all our family

To the Family Of Annie Schultze,
I have always considered it such a privilege to have met and worked with Annie.
To know her was to love her. In addition to being a class act, impeccable dresser, and excellent cook, she was a kind soul and so much fun to be around. She had so much class and ran the OR at Thompson with an amazing amount of skill and diplomacy.
We planned many Christmas parties together for the OR and she even helped plan my first retirement party when I started going to Key West in 2001.
When I first heard that she had passed, I felt that her family and all who knew her suffered such a great loss. And then I realized that she has gone on to someplace greater than earth! It gives me comfort to think about her in Heaven stirring things up.
It still makes me shed a tear for her loss. She was one of those people who would ALWAYS bring a smile to your face when you thought of her. I know that the last few years were rough but even those she weathered with her usual grace.
My heart goes out to you all in this time of sadness and loss.
Love, Rebecca Raguso Snyder

Dear Bill and family,
We will never forget our dear friend who we met 50 years ago while camping at Piseco in the Adirondacks. Our campsite was next to yours and in true Annie fashion, she invited us over for hot chocolate and to toast marshmallows over the camp fire. From that time on we had a wonderful bond with you all, but especially Annie. We remember special delicious meals cooked by Annie, sledding parties followed by French onion soup and Christmas gatherings where we gathered around the tree (lit with real candles!), singing “O Christmas Tree”. What beautiful memories over so many years. Annie’s friendship meant so much to our family. On my last visit with her in the nursing home, just before COVID, we held hands and she sang so beautifully - Rest In Peace Annie. Our. prayers and sympathy are with you all at this sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We always remember Annie with such elegance and grace. She was always so happy spending time with her family, especially her grandsons, Max and Sam at Michele’s house. She enjoyed every minute with Michele making the most decadent dishes. It always put a smile on my face listening to both of them laughing away in the kitchen. We will always treasure her good hearted nature and kindness. Love, Jason, Jeanmarie, Claire and Tara

Bill: your family and you are deep in my prayers. Annie was such a beautiful woman in so many ways and the way she cared for residents at Ewing even while she, herself was a resident, is a testament to her loving nature! I will miss seeing the twinkle in her eyes and trying to understand the French words in our conversations. :-) Annie was a blessing to all and is now with our heavenly Father. ~ Virginia H.
