Obituary of Thelma A. Schutz

Thelma A. Schutz, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Thelma was born in the Town of Ward, NY on June 6, 1930 the daughter of the late John and Iva Robinson. She was married to her husband, Walter J. Schutz, on November 30, 1951 and lived in Canandaigua most of her life. She is survived by her children, Thelma E. Schutz, James J. Schutz, Barbara A. Schutz Tripp, Walter W. Schutz, Gloria V. (Floyd C. Pre-deceased) Schutz Dunton, and Mary Jane (Dave) Lichaa. In addition she is survived by 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Thelma was pre-deceased by her husband on February 16, 2004. She was also pre-deceased by her sisters, Gladys Rochester, Helen Schutz, Florence Stromitis and Carrie Robinson. Thelma was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, always taking care of all of her family. Friends may call Friday, April 16, from 2-4pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A 4pm memorial service will follow at the funeral home. There will be a graveside service in Greenmount Cemetery, 10071 Greenmount Ave., Dansville, NY at 11am on Monday, April 19.
