Obituary of Patricia A. Harrison

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 Patricia A. Dutton Harrison was welcomed to Heaven with open arms on Saturday, April 3, 2021 surrounded by her children and sister at Strong Memorial Hospital. Patricia – better known as Patti, Pat, Mom, or Nana – put God, her family, and her community first. She spent many years volunteering at Elm Manor Nursing Home and never hesitated to help a friend or neighbor in need. Patti also enjoyed making holiday cards, going for long walks around her neighborhood, going to bible study, and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were a great source of joy in her life, and Patti always thought up the most fun things for them to do together whenever one of them would visit. From making her living room into a grocery store and converting her shed into an "animal hospital" to inventing Bible Bingo and making up silly versions of the songs "Renegade" and "Dirty Water" – her creativity knew no bounds. Every one of her grandchildren would wait in anticipation for the next time they'd get to spend a weekend with Nana. Anyone who knew Patti would describe her as loving, patient, generous, and gentle. She always had the right words to bring comfort during a difficult or sad situation. She was armed with knowledge, faith, and most likely a bible verse to bring you peace, hope, or joy. If she were here right now, she would bring solace to so many with her kind words, prayers, and big hugs. Her love was infectious and could put a smile on anybody's face. Patti is survived by her four beautiful children: Jeremy Dutton, Holli (Blane) Dutton, Kristen (Chris) Tierson, and Jamie Myer, her grandchildren: Kayleigh, Nicholas, Parker, Gabrielle, Kennedy, and Jaxson, and her siblings: Bruce, Kevin, Brett, Lisa, and Sean. She is also survived by many family members that loved her dearly and will hold on tightly to her memory. She has been reunited in Heaven with her late husband Randy Dutton – the father to her four beautiful children, her late husband John Harrison, her mother Jean, her father John, and her beloved cat Tony. Friends and family are invited to attend a service in honor of Patti on Wednesday, April 7 at 11:00 am at Victor Community Church. There will be no prior calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patti's name to the Victor Community Church or the ALS Association. To share a memory or express condolences online please visit www.fullerfh.com
