Obituary of Frederick S. Winter

Frederick S. Winter was called to heaven unexpectedly at F.F. Thompson Hospital on Tuesday August 18, 2020 at the age of 71. Fred was born April 21, 1949 in Rochester, NY to John and Evelyn (DeGroot) Winter. He graduated from Gates Chili High School in 1968. Fred is survived by his wife of 48 years Lucia (Junco) Winter, Son John (Shara) Winter, Daughter Toni (Stephen) Battaglia, two Grandchildren, Al and Anthony. His mother Evelyn of Webster, sister Kathie (Linsday) Hurn of Ontario, Brother-In-Law David (Terry) Junco, Sister-In-Laws Trish (Mark) Dunshie and Jude Junco along with several Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. Fred is predeceased by his father, John Winter, Father and Mother-In-Law David and Angela Junco and Daughter-In-Law Jill Heidel Winter. Most recently Fred enjoyed mowing the fairways at Cobblestone Creek Golf Club after retiring in 2015 from NAPA Auto Parts in Shortsville as a road salesman. Calling hours are to be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 3-5PM at Fuller Funeral Home in Canandaigua with a memorial service immediately following.
