Obituary of Joseph T. D'Agostino
Canandaigua – Joseph T. D’Agostino, 71, Loving father and grandfather, passed away at Strong Memorial hospital on June 9, 2019, surrounded by family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph T. D’Agostino and Rachel G. Bovenza, and his son, Joseph T. D’Agostino III. He is survived by his son Anthony (Jake) D’Agostino and daughter Christina D’Agostino (Erik) and grandchildren Lorenzo, Gianna and Eliana and his former spouse Joan D’Agostino.
A lifelong resident of Canandaigua, Joseph was a parishioner at St. Mary’s church, a member of the local Elk’s Club and Knights of Columbus. In his earlier years he was an avid golfer and bowler. Joe had many stories to share of those days with his friends which he shared with a laugh until his last days.
Friends may call Thursday, June 13 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s church, Main Street, Canandaigua, on Friday, Jun 14th at 11 am. A burial will follow with a celebration of Joe’s life being held at the Elk’s Lodge in Canandaigua.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joe to the American Red Cross. We also strongly encourage those who can, please donate blood to their local Red Cross blood bank.
