Vincent C. Schinsing
Canandaigua- Vincent C. Schinsing, 96, loving husband to his loving wife of 70 years Helen, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving wife, children; and grandchildren.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father Charles, his mother Mildred, brothers Art, James, Paulie, and George Schinsing, his sister Betty Defisher
Vincent was born in Newark, NY. He served his country in WWII as a chemical war engineer. Vincent worked at Garlocks in Palmyra for many years.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Helen Schinsing; ten children, Sharon Vanwyngaarden,, of Prattsburgh, NY, Helen Pearl of Clifton Springs, NY, Marlene(Bill) Erb, of North Carolina, Beverly Henninger, of Rochester, Vincent( Sally) Schinsing of Naples, NY, Mary(Nate) Henninger, of Canandaigua, NY, George(Lisa) Schinsing, of Hopewell, NY, Janet (Eddie) Dibble of Farmington, NY, Elizabeth (Todd) Breuer of Minnesota, Betty(Mark) Ledgerwood, of Gorham, NY. Vincent is also survived by his 23 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Vincent loved to go fishing with his family. He loved to play rummy, poker and euchre with family. Vincent was a true blue New York Yankees fan and the New York Giants. He loved to watch NASCAR Racing, His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt SR.
A 10 am funeral service will be held Monday, May 20, at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Burial will be in Rushville Cemetery.
