Born In Rochester NY on 7/9/1928 Graduated From Westt High School Rochester, NY
After School She Worked For Bond Dress Store In Rochester As A Bookkeeper. Married Dalton Wheaton On 3/5/1947. She Moved To Bath , NY And Worked For The Boy Scouts Of America As A Bookeeper Till Her 1st Child Was Born. Then She Stayed Home To Raise Her Four Children. After The Children We In School She Went To Work For Acme Markets Till 1965 When The Family Moved To Webster, NY And She Went To Work For Loblaws Grocery In Webster. After Retirement Dalton And Betty Moved Back To Bath, NY. She Later Went To Work For Steuben County Pro Action. Where She Visited People In Their Homes To Evaluate Needs That They Had In Their Homes Such as Stretch Bands For Exercising Their Muscles Etc. She Created The Wheelchair Ramp Program So People Weren't House Bound. She Retired From Pro Action In 2007 At The Age Of 79. a Memorial Mass Will Be Held Saturday May 11, 2019 At St Januarius Church On Main St Naples, NY At 2:00 PM. Survivours Are As Follows: Children Monte Wheaton, Cheryl(Mike) Cobb, Randy Wheaton, Cindy(Todd) Swimlar, Grandchildren: Barry Wheaton, Heather Wheaton, Cory Tomb, Dustin Tomb, Jeff Wheaton, Michelle Wheaton, Krissy Wheaton, Matt Wheaton, Casey Gregorius, Chad Gregorius, Cody Swimllar, Breanne Swimlar And 8 Great Grandchildren Thanks To MM Ewing Continuing Care In Canandaigua, NY They Excelled In Care For Her, And She Loved Every One Of Them.
