Sharon Rugg

Sharon Rugg, 67, of Bloomfield, died January 15, at Unity Hospital in Rochester.  She was born in Canandaigua on Jan. 9, 1953 to the late Richard and Lorraine (Hunt) DeLong.  She was a graduate of Bloomfield Central School, class of 1971 and had worked at Voplex for several years.

Survivors include her husband Raymond Rugg of Farmington, her children Michelle "Shelly" (Rick Moody) Duchowny of Bloomfield, Marcie (Steve) Knapp of Waterford, NY, Sarah (Rick) Parshall of Bloomfield, Russell (Alina) Rugg, Miami, FL, Shawn Benson of Weedsport, NY and Christopher (Sara) Benson of Newark, several grandchildren and her brothers Sam (Donna) DeLong of Bloomfield and Rick (Tammy) DeLong of Rochester.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at the East Bloomfield Fire House on January 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
