Obituary of Carol E. Donley

Carol E. (Holbert) Donley Canandaigua, NY- Carol E. (Holbert) Donley, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her Canandaigua home. Born on January 6, 1943 in Wayland, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roy Holbert and Jeanette Prinzi. Carol graduated from Wayland-Cohocton high school in 1961 and went on to spend most of her life in Naples, NY with her beloved husband of 49 years. Carol touched the lives of countless children as a dedicated employee of Naples Central School District for several years. Carol is survived by her daughter, Pamela Glick (Sam), her son, Michael Donley, and her son-by-marriage, Frank Brown. Carol left behind seven grandchildren, Kaylee Donley, Brandon Donley, Jessica Campanello, Jennifer Brown, Bianca Brown, Kathryn Brown and Cheyenne Donley. She is survived by her brother, Phil Prinzi (Janice), 5 great-grandchildren, Wheeler, Audi, Lincoln, Zachary, and Arabelle, and several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend, Melvin Donley, her stepfather, Nick Prinzi, her brother, Chuck Prinzi, and her firstborn great-grandchild, Dominic. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a caring friend to all who knew her. Family and friends may call Friday, January 18, from 11am-1pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc.190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A 1pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
