Vince, My sincere condolences to you and your family in your time of grief. I fondly remember Dee, who grew up in the same neighborhood as I did. The wonderful part is that she lived a long and happy life which you were preledeged to share for over 60 years. The over "80" club is vibrant and growing and I myself am happy to be a member. Keep your chin up and stay happy which is what Dee would want. Joanne Sweet

Vince,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was so sorry to hear of her illness and then passing from Fr. Dan. You were such a dedicated and compassionate couple. Dee touched so many kids in her position and even after retiring, you still gave so much. Dee is in my prayers and I pray that the memories who have shared over these last few days will bring comfort and peacefulness. Fr. Kevin

Vince and Family, Our heartfelt condolences go out to you. We were unfortunately unable to attend the Service for Dee, but were there in spirit. Dee was such a wonderful, positive lady, and was our daughter, Erika's favorite teacher. We so enjoyed her company and, like many others will miss her a great deal.

We will always remember Dee's warmth and great smile. As her new neighbors we would see her working in the garden, and enjoying summer days. We are sorry we did not get to know her longer. She will be missed so much by Vince and her wonderful family. Blessings and peace to all of you, and know that she will always be watching over you.

My sympathy to all of Dee’s family. She was such a kind, caring lady. She played piano for the children’s choir at church when my daughter was younger. Every time I saw her, years later, she asked about Sarah and wanted to know how she was doing. She holds a special place in our hearts.

To Vince, Andy, Tom, Joy and Vince,
Please accept my deepest sympathy with the loss of Dee. She was truly one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever known. I taught with Dee for many years and she was a mentor to me, along with the other kindergarten teachers when i began my teaching. She was wonderful with the children and parents, as you can imagine, and always played the piano when we had kindergarten activities. Always one of the first to offer help when I needed it. After she retired when ever I would meet her and Vince they were always so sweet and kind and interested in what I was doing. The world has lost a truly wonderful person, teacher, mentor and friend, but heaven has gained an angel. Her picture here truly shows how she was, always smiling. I am thinking and praying for all of you in this most difficult time. With love for all of you~Debbie McWilliams!

Mrs Valvano was a role model for me. She taught me piano lessons staring in second grade. She always sincerely asked about what was happening in my life and always listened and had positive encouragement, and remembered the next timewe met what we had previously talked about. She became part of out family and will be missed. She was the salt of the earth and leaves a strong legacy to follow. She is at the right hand of the Lord and now enjoys eternal life.
