I will truly miss walking in to an establishment around town after work and hearing Eddie's "Hey baby!" He always made for good conversation. We would chat often about the VA. One very memorable night he and Rip kept me busy telling me about the Battle of Pork Chop Hill and then writing me a note for my boss to excuse me from work for the next day! It was a very memorable conversation and I am forever grateful that I was able to spend the time with the two of them together. Eddie was honest if nothing else. You never know what was going to come out of his mouth next! Canandaigua won't be the same without him.
