Obituary of Harold Burnett

Harold J. Burnett Harold Burnett, 77, passed away peacefully May 1, 2018 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marie; children, Edith (Todd) Ackerman, David, Christopher, Douglas, Penny and Eva; step-children, Scott (Becky) Cooper, Pamela (Joseph) Carson, Richard (Donna) Cooper; granddaughter, Hailey Burnett; brother, Walt; and sisters, Dorothy and Shirley; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and his special k-9 buddy, Peanut. He is predeceased by his parents, Ira and Edith (Mountain) Burnett; brothers, Donald, Laverne, William, Floyd, Glenn, Robert and twin brother Harry. Harold worked various jobs throughout the area. One of his most memorable jobs was as a dairy farmer. He worked for a number of years at Anderson Farms in Himrod. In later years he could be seen at the carousel at Eastview Mall or behind the scenes at area restaurants. He was at times a member of both the Hopewell and Hook Fire Departments and was an avid member of the Odd Fellows and enjoyed calling bingo games in the 90's. Above all, Harold enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Friends may call Monday, May 7, from 5-7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 7 pm memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
