Obituary of Diane M. Barnhart

Diane M. Barnhart Clifton Springs- Diane Barnhart passed away August 21, 2017 at the Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY at the age of 71, with her family by her side. Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Elvin (Lou) Barnhart; 3 children, Michele (John) Burnett, Caryn (Steven) Roat, Elizabeth Barnhart; 4 grandchildren, Regina Burnett, Brandon, Caleb, and Sarah Roat; half-brother, Scott (Cheryl) Philley; step-mother, Laura Philley; and 2 step-brothers, David and Robert; 2 aunts and several cousins, nieces and nephews, plus a few very close friends of many years. Pre-deceased by her mother, Laura (Moore) Yerden, father, Almon (Pete) Philley. Diane was a graduate of Clifton Springs, after graduating high school, Diane continued her education and graduated from Continental Beauty School for hair. She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and married the love of her life Louie on August 25, 1965, moved back to the Canandaigua area the following spring. From there on continued their family and life together. Diane was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Diane was a kind hearted, caring soul. She has left us with everlasting memories that will never be forgotten. She has earned her wings in heaven. Forever in our hearts…. Until we meet again…. Friends may call Saturday, August 26, from 2-4 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street Canandaigua. A 4 pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
