Obituary of Paul J. Wolf
Paul J Wolf, age 73, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2017, at Strong Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Paul was born on July 28, 1943 in Buffalo NY. He graduated from LeRoy High School and held degrees from Finger Lakes Community Hospital and Rochester Institute of Technology. Paul also served proudly in the US Navy for 4 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Paul was a longtime resident of Canandaigua. He was known to many not only as a purchasing manager but more importantly as the hot dog man of downtown Canandaigua and as a wedding photographer. The role he loved the most however was that of Santa Claus to many children formore than 40 years.
Paul is survived by his wife Joyce, brother Harold (Bonnie) Wolf, six children and three grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father Elmer and mother Arlene.
A memorial service will be held on July 1, 2017 at the home of Joyce and Paul. It will begin at three o’clock pm with the memorial set to begin at three-thirty pm. It will be followed by a celebration of Paul’s life. Joyce hopes that you will share a story and celebrate his life by embracing the style and spirit of Margaritaville in both dress and philosophy.
