I had the privilege of working for Sgt. Kerr at SP Williamson for several years starting in December, 1968. We had a great crew and the "Best Leader" in Sgt. Kerr. This period of time was the most enjoyable of my 27 year career. I've thought about him many times & am thankful our paths crossed. He was a wonderful person!

My condolences are with the family right now and i'm deeply sorry for your loss. Death is truly an enemy and was never part of God's purpose. Soon he promises to undo the effects of death Acts 24:15. May you find comfort in God's Word and with one another during this difficult time.

It would be tough to forget this fine man, Bob was my Sgt when I arrived at the Williamson barracks in 1970. As a trooper right out of the academy I was nervous and wanted to fit in. Bob certainly helped me to do that, his easy going ways were reflected by the men who worked for him. He showed and taught us respect and how to treat the public. I ran into Bob several times after he retired and he was always to polite gentleman that I remembered. My sympathy to the family.

Bob once served for a very long time at the Williamson State troopers Barracks and was one of the most respected officers stationed there. Very pleasant, friendly and respectful. Although it has been many years since seeing him he always remained a memory. It wasn't unusual to have him stop in our office or run into him at the Williamson Candy Kitchen or catch a brief visit on the street. He always took time for a brief chat, had a smile and extremely pleasant personality. Thankfully, for you and your family, fond memories have a way of helping to heal and find peace. Please accept my sincere Sympathy.
