Obituary of Laura Ann Flynn

Laura Plyter Flynn Canandaigua - Laura Plyter Flynn, age 48, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. She is survived by her son, Michael Flynn; daughter, Elaina Flynn; father, Charles C. Plyter, Jr. ; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Plyter; nephews, Pascal and Elijah Plyter; and dear friend, Kevin Marvin. She is also survived by many close friends, cousins, aunts and uncles. Laura is predeceased by her mother, Dolores Knopf Plyter and her brother, Charles A. Plyter. Laura accomplished her dreams to be a mother and a teacher. She loved teaching math at Geneva High School and cared deeply for her students, helping them to be successful. Laura will be remembered for her beautiful blue-eyed smile and humor and especially for her never ending love for her children, Michael and Elaina. There will be no prior calling hours. A funeral Mass will be offered at 2 pm Friday, April 28th at St. Mary's Church, 95 North Main St., Canandaigua. Committal will be at the convenience of the family.
