Obituary of Samuel J. Stepanovich

Samuel Stepanovich Canandaigua- Samuel Stepanovich, a longtime resident of Canandaigua, passed away at Thompson Hospital on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the age of 64. Samuel was an employee of F.W. Webb in Fairport, NY. Sam is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marjorie, his mother, Esther, his daughters Jill (Scott) Ehrlinger, Emily (Thaddeus) Wojcik, brothers Walter, Robert, and Paul Stepanovich, grandchildren Samuel Ehrlinger, Noah Wojcik, Mary Ehrlinger, Katherine Wojcik, and Zachary Wojcik. Sam was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and friend to many. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Victor, NY where he served as Treasurer and Financial Secretary. Sam was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Free Masons. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, and was a long-suffering Buffalo Bills fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Friends are invited to a service honoring Sam's life at St. John's Lutheran Church in Victor, NY on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
