Obituary of Frances M. Musolino

Frances Ricciotti Musolino Canandaigua — Frances Ricciotti Musolino, a life-long resident of Canandaigua, died peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2017. Born in 1925 in Canandaigua, Frances graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1944. She went on to marry the love of her life, James Musolino, and became a wonderful mother to four daughters. She worked side by side with Jimmy on their farm, and became his caregiver following his accident. Frances was an active member of St. Mary’s Church and looked forward to working at their annual festival as well as volunteering weekly for St. Vincent de Paul Society. Frances loved singing and dancing (especially polkas), reading, warm weather, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune (she could give any contestant a run for their money), visits with friends and family, and playing with her spunky great grandson, who affectionately called her GG. She is preceded in death by her dear husband, James Musolino, her parents, Frank and Mary Ricciotti, her sisters, Lena Barnum, Katie Coleates, Genny Minute, and brother, Phil Ricciotti. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Welch, Emma Doane, Nancy Lassiter, and Fran (Jack) Jenkins, her grandchildren, James Tyler Lassiter, Brooke (Matt) Nesbit, and her great grandson, Bruno Nesbit. She is also survived by her sisters, Yolanda Howell, Josie Welsh, Betty Holland, Margie (Raiph) Everette, Stella Furfure, and her brother, Frank (Sandy) Ricciotti. Family and friends may call Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5-7pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc., 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A 10:00 am funeral service will be held Thursday, January 12, at St. Mary’s Church, 95 N. Main Street, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 95 N.
