Obituary of Lyle E. Nudd

Lyle Nudd died peacefully at the age of 87 on September 30th, 2016, surrounded by family. Lyle is survived by his children Debbie (Paul) Hines, Gayla (Clayton) Zuber, and Steve (Ruth Ryan) Nudd; his grandchildren Seth (Susan) Carr, Kevin Hines, Andy (Pilar) Zuber, and Heather (Joe) Werner; his great grandchildren Schuyler, Sydney, and Sloane Carr, Lilliana and Allison Werner, and Mark Zuber; his brothers Lowell (Lee) Nudd, and Leighton (Madeline) Nudd; and his sister Lois (Al) Wertman. He is preceded in death by his parents Roland and Bertha Nudd; his brothers Leland, Leslie, Larry, Lewellyn, and Lloyd Nudd; his beloved wife Jean Busby Nudd, and his precious daughter Karen Nudd Carr. Lyle was born on December 19th, 1928 in East Bloomfield, NY. Lyle lived his entire life in the Canandaigua area, spending all of his working days in the auto industry. He was a dedicated family man, always engaged in the activities of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lyle loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees. As a younger man, he served the community of Rushville for many years as a little league baseball coach. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th from 4-8 pm at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St in Canandaigua. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 6th at 2pm at the Rushville United Methodist Church, 22 N Main St in Rushville. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lyle’s life.
