Obituary of Helen C. Golphin

Helen Golphin Geneva- Helen Golphin, 87, passed away September 11, 2016 at Geneva Living Center. Helen was born in Charleston S.C. and lived there in her early years. As a young adult, she move north to find work, eventually settling in the Geneva area, where she worked as a migrant laborer. Helen lived in the Geneva area for more than 60 years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, and above all she was a "people person", liking nothing better than to visit and get to know people. In her later years Helen went to Lakeview Health Services where she had a close circle of friends who visited often and made up her social group. Helen is survived by two sisters and a host of nieces and nephews, plus a close friends and frequent visitors Minnie White, Dee Dixon, Yolanda Martin, Damon Talley and Kay Viggiani.
