Obituary of Mary Jane Schmeer

Mary Jane Schmeer Canandaigua- Mary Jane Schmeer, age 80 passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September13, 2016 peacefully with family members by her side. She is survived by her five sons, Lee (Charlyne), Kent (Carol), Jack (Michele), Jeff and Mark (Bev), nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and siblings, Robert (Karen), Kenneth (Kathy), Barbara (Robert) and John (Paula). She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Dyke Schmeer and her sister, Joan. Since moving to Canandaigua in 1955, Mary Jane has worked at Cole and Raes, Sports Garden and the Cooperative Extension. She has been active in St John's Episcopal Church, Canandaigua High School band boosters and the Canandaigua "Y" Shows. Friends may call on Saturday, September 17, from 12 to 2PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc.190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A graveside ceremony will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
