Obituary of Wilson Sykes
Wilson Sykes Jr.
Wilson Sykes died unexpectedly at his home in Canandaigua.
Wilson was born on January 17, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating high school Wilson joined the US Army and served as a chef in Germany and Panama. Wilson continued with his passion for cooking after leaving the Army. He was a chef at many restaurants ranging from the Buffalo, NY region to Canandaigua, NY. Wilson's biggest passions in life were cooking and making people smile. Wilsons had a laugh and a smile that was infectious to all around him.
Wilson is survived by his brother, Ray Eskridge; sister, Beverly Joyce Sykes; his fiancée, Kelly Ochs and children Heather Ochs; Eric Ochs; Kurt (Lindsay) Ochs; four grandsons; Kristopher, Sky, Karson and Jordan as well as many brothers and sisters-in law, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Wilson touched many lives with his kind heart and welcoming smile.

Friends and family may call Thursday, August 18, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. Interment will be private.
