James C. Tolbert
Farmington- James Tolbert, of Cnty Rd. 8, passed away May 27, 2016 at Hospeace House in Naples.
Born in Appomattox, VA, James was a resident of Victor-Farmington since 1956. He was a teamster truck driver for local 398 in Rochester and owned & operated Mark’s Top Soil for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Judy Tolbert; children, MaryJane (Rick) Kornbau, David (Carole) Tolbert, Stephen Tolbert, Brian (Susan) Tolbert, Stacey (Ken) Preston, Kim (Doug) Mossbrook, Mark Tolbert; daughter in-law, Samantha Tolbert; numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
James was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia B. Criss Tolbert; and a son, Norman Wayne Tolbert.
Friends may call Thursday, June 2, from 4-8 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10am funeral service will be held Friday, June 3, at Calvary Chapel, 1777 Rochester Rd, Farmington, NY 14425. Burial will be in Boughton Hill Cemetery Victor.
