Obituary of Roberta E. Moore

Roberta E. Moore "Berta" Beloved sister, aunt and friend Canandaigua- Roberta Moore passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness on May 26, 2016 at her home. Berta was born on August 2, 1936 to Richard T. and Ethel D. (Broberg) Moore, the youngest of seven children. She was a lifelong Canandaigua resident, attending Cheshire Union School and Canandaigua Acedemy, graduating in 1954. Berta was employed at Don Alleson's Athletic Apparel in Geneva. She also represented AVON Cosmetics for 45 yrs. developing numerous lasting friendships. She was a woman with a "heart of gold." She maintained the family homestead with an open door, to give of herself and anything she had to share. Berta loved singing her favorite songs with a beautiful voice and kitty's which she had many though the years. She is survived by sisters, Beatrice (Betty) Crudele, Mildred (Millie) Clark; Special nephew and niece, Eric and Julie Jorgensen- whom she lived with and were her caregivers; nephew, Edward (Ed) Jorgensen; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Berta was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Laura Yerden, Alice Jorgensen and Eleanor Rodger; brother, Richard (Bud) Moore. Friends may call Wednesday, June 1, from 4-7pm at Fuller Funeral Home Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. Where a 7pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
