Obituary of Lawrence R. Holland

Lawrence R Holland Sr. Canandaigua- Lawrence Holland passed away February 15, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. Lawrence was born in Plattsburgh, NY January 23, 1942 and served in the US Navy. He graduated from RIT and retired from Xerox Corp. in 2009. Larry loved traveling in his Bluebird motor home with his wife Elizabeth and loved hanging out with his friends, Rich and Linda, in Florida. He also enjoyed woodworking, going fishing with his son's and walking his dog, Smokey. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children, Donald (Brenda) Langdon, Susan (Michael) Manaco, Ronald (Barbara) Langdon and Lawrence Holland Jr.; grandchildren, Donald and Joshua Langdon, Jeffery (Nicole) Ross, Barrett (Nicole) Ross, Kristin Locus and Craig (Jessica) Langdon; brothers, Richard(Linda) and Terrance and nieces and nephews. Lawrence was an active member of St. Mary's Church. He was also a member of the Moose Club and American Legion Post 256. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Saturday, February 20, at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, February 21. Donations in Lawrence’s may be made to Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
