Obituary of James A. Mincer
James A. Mincer “Jim, Jimmy, Mincer”
Canandaigua- James Mincer passed away peacefully, January 29, 2016, at Fred & Harriett Taylor Health Center in Bath, NY after a long illness, surrounded by his children.
He was predeceased by mother, Isabella Case Mincer and grandson Joshua Jay Mitchell.
Survived by Bonnie Mincer of Canandaigua; Children: Rick (Karen) McIlveen of Fairport NY, Tracy (David) Richter of Canandaigua NY, Lisa (Steven) Mitchell of Rush NY, David (Michelle) Mincer of Charleston, WVA; Grandchildren: Lindsey (Andrew) Remillard, Lauren McIlveen, Michael Clark, Alissa, Stephanie and Tessa Mitchell, Georgia and Gabriel Mincer; Great-grandson Daniel Remillard, many friends.
Jim was kind-hearted, and would do anything for anybody. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Red Cross, where Jim generously donated his blood to help those who needed it or a charity of your choice.
Calling hours will be at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua Tuesday, February 2, from 4 – 7 p.m. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 3. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
