Patrick Frasca of East Bloomfield died May 1, 2009 at the Fairport Baptist Home. He was 91. Pat was predeceased by his wife Jenny; three sisters Grace ODonnell, Mary Gullace, Lucille Chipman and two brothers John and Joseph.
He is survived by his sister Laura Simak of Rochester and brothers Louis, Michael, Ralph and Robert all of Canandaigua. Also a dear friend and neighbor Bill Barry of East Bloomfield.
Patrick served in the Civilian Conservation Corp and from 1942 to 1945 as a corporal in the 409 th infantry. He saw combat in Algeria, French Morocco, Tunisia, Sicily, Rome-Arne, South France and the battle of the Bulge. He received battlefield citations for each. He was awarded the infantrymans Badge, Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
Pat was a member of the DAV and retired from the car shop in East Rochester and VA Hospital in Canandaigua.
Special thanks is given to the Fairport Baptist Home for the care he received there.
Friends may call Monday May 4, from 4 pm. to 8 pm. At the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 5, at 10 am. At the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
