Obituary of John Coe

JOHN CHARLES COE 1943 – 2009 BLOOMFIELD: John Coe, 65, died Monday evening, March 2, at his home. Mr. Coe was born in Rochester, NY on April 19, 1943 to the late Burr D. and Bernadine Labounty Coe. He was a graduate of Trenton State College in New Jersey and had been associated with the Edison (NJ) Township school district for 17 years as a teacher and an additional 17 years as an administrator. Survivors include his wife Carlyn Dean Coe, Bloomfield; his daughter Wendy (Kyle) Garcia, Long Valley, NJ and his son David (Katrina)Coe of Salem, AL; his grandchildren Sarah, John, Matthew, Blaine and Maddelyn; his brother James (Margaret) Coe, Hillsborough, NJ; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Dean, Canandaigua and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Coe in 2008. There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the United Church of Bristol, 7177 County Road 2, Bloomfield, Friday morning at 11:00. Memorial services will also be held at the Lower Valley Presbyterian Church, Califon, NJ on Monday morning at 11:00 with burial in Califon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Research, Juvenile Diabetes or to the American Heart Association.
