Mary was such a delight to know. We were privileged to have her and Gene as friends and fellow actors in the Bloomfield theater group when we were all relatively young. I hope others reading this entry will remember Al and Mary's scenes together in plays, and Gene jumping over my collapsed body in "See How They Run". I can hear his giggle and Mary's as if it were yesterday.
To all of Mary's family, our sympathy and thanks for sharing such a wonderful lady with us.

Mrs. Burlingham started as my eyeglass customer approx. 10 years ago and became Mary my friend. I called her in Jan. on a Sat. morning just to let her know she woke me up. I apparently had had a dream and she was in it, and she was the one who startled me so I was not late to the office that morning. I called to share that with her and she laughed along with me. She also made a couple of comments about being in my bedroom but we had decided to let those pass. I will miss her smiling face and how I was able to share some of the business side of my position. She had an objective view and I respected her opinions and advice.
