The world has lost a great guy. When Jimmy Babiarz sent me an e-mail telling me Yautz was in the hospital I just couldn't believe it. I always admired him and never thought something like this could happen to him. Our senior year in high school was one of the best years of my life. That's when Middlesex and Gorham merged and I met and played sports with the Yautz. The following year Yautz, myself and Gary Lee quit college and went to San Diego. We lived with Cheryl until we got jobs and got our own place. What a tremendous adventure we had. I'll never forget the times that we shared and the fun we had. I am glad that he is no longer suffering and in a better place. I am so sorry.

Coleen, Dylan, Steve, Cheryl and Mr. Yautzy, There's no way I can express what a gaping hole this leaves in me. If there was anyway I could take your pain away and give his family and friends more time with Gary, I would do it in a heartbeat. Although it was long ago, for ten years I was lucky enough to be best friends with him, and quite naturally he was my Best Man. Rest in peace my friend.

We are deeply sorry to learn of Gary's passing, but are relieved that his suffering is finally over. We first became acquainted with Gary when he coached our three sons in Frank Baker football. He brought a WONDERFUL perspective to the coaching of all of the young boys and gave us the feeling they were in very good hands. Our boys were introduced to many "life skills" other than just the game of football under Gary's coaching. Even today our boys who are parents/teachers and/or coaches themselves, remember Gary fondly and the skills he taught them. There's just no way a parent can ever say enough thank you's for this kind of contribution, but we'd just like to say one more time - - - THANKS A MILLION GARY , you were wonderful. The Goodnow Family

Countless memories of good times with Yautz. If you were lucky enough to be with Yautz they were all good memories. He had an infectious personality that wouldn't let you be anything but happy. One night at Clark's he played and sang to Bob Seger's Katmandu so many times I thought the record would wear out. But after awhile his enthusiam captured me. I can never hear Katmandu without thinking of him. Whenever he saw you there was always that sparkle in his eyes and big smile on his face. And then you had that same smile on your face, you were lucky enough to have him for a friend. God Bless!

Charlie, Cheryl and Michael There are no words to express how sad I am for you. I have spent the last few days reflecting on Yautz as he was and how I want to remember him and I hope you can to, not the Yautz consummed by the illness. He would want us all to remember the fun, hardworking, handsome guy that he was. Please know I love you and that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will cherish my memories of my life past with Yautz and our times together. In my heart we will always be family. Love and God Bless. Debbie
