Obituary of Alton Schumacher

ALTON M. SCHUMACHER CANANDAGIUA: Alton Schumacher, 63, of the Cooley Road, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his home. Alton was born in Canandaigua on January 19, 1945 to the late Alton E. and Elsie Holtz Schumacher. He was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy class of 1963. A lifelong farmer, Alton was employed by BrockAcres where he had worked with four generations of Brocklebanks. He is survived by the love of his life Jean Bucher of Canandaigua, his brother John (Karen) Schumacher of Canandaigua, his Aunt Bernice (Albert) Wolf of Penfield, nieces, cousins and many friends. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Canandaigua Emergency Squad or to the East Bloomfield/Holcomb Volunteer Fire Department.
