Chris and family:
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I only ever knew Ed as cousin "Mickey", and I always enjoyed the times we met at reunions. Mickey was always calm and patient with the younger cousins and nothing ever seemed to bother him. My prayers are with you.

I knew him as Mickey. I must have been a teenager before I knew his name was Edward. He was my cousin and we spent a lot of time together when we were kids. He used to come to the country on the weekends and summers to help at the gas station my folks ran. He let me drive his field car and didnt get mad when my friend drove it and scratched the entire side on a barbed wire fence.
We grew up and had families; each of us busy with our lives and saw little of each other in recent years. That will be a lasting regret. Chris and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
May God provide the comfort and strength you will need in these coming days.

Chris and family,
I never met a man that was so good to the people he knew and worked with. Although we were miles apart, I thought of him often and will miss the emails he would send to me. Judy and I will miss him very much. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Once in a lifetime someone like Eddie may come into your life. If you are lucky. I was fortunate to have him in mine. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Easy going, generous, and hard working, there wasn't anything he couldn't do. He would give you the shirt off his back. In all the years I have known him I never saw him angry or say a bad word about anyone. I always looked forward to his frequent e mails. They were a sure way to start your day off with a smile. I will miss him dearly. Ed will forever be in my heart and in my prayers.
